I used to think I couldn't make idm (intelligent dance music, for the uninitiated) as though I wasn't cool enough or something. My music isn't nearly complex or weird or technically competent enough to be considered among the likes of the great Aphex, Autechre et al.
Over the previous year I have undergone a transformation of sorts, resulting in a new clearer perspective on the true nature of The Hedonistic Imperative.
What started off as my Love Letter to Dinosaurs wound up becoming my Latest Love Letter to IDM, but my most heartfelt and perfectly handwritten yet.
And a new chance to flex.
